One of the challenges many professional healer’s run into on their journey to create a successful healing practice is the fear of success.
Fear of success can come from our experience of different development trauma, and often it is related to our experience of self-expression as a child.
If our unique self-expression resulted in subtle or not-so-subtle punishment / humiliation, then we grow into adults who unconsciously hide or self-sabotage to avoid this experience of punishment / humiliation that would come from our success.
In order to navigate THROUGH this pattern to a place we can experience and tolerate the external success we desire, we must work on the deeper issue and create safety for ourselves to express ourselves.
If you have put a lot of time, energy and money towards something you want, and then somehow it never comes to fruition, you may be self-sabotaging your success because of an unconscious fear of success, and the punishment or humiliation you are unconsciously avoiding.
Is self-sabotage stealing your success? How can you create safety for yourself to fully self-express?
